I did some work with the virtual standbys in 5.3.6.128 and now in 5.3.7.68
1. My first attempt resulted in corrupted virtual machines on a replicated server. Reason: Known issue in 5.3.6.128 to corrupt snapshots for any server that was seeded and consumed on replicated server.
2. Every different operating system contained on virtual standby seemed to act differently.
3. I had one physical server- Windows server 2003 had to delete scsi controller from hyper-v and add virtual drive as ide instead to get it to work as well as install hyper-v integration services.
4. Mail Server also doesn't like when Domain Controller is missing. Seems to throw a few errors even though still starts up.
5. Noticed it sometimes takes a really time to load especially on special servers like DC and Mail. So I would leave it quite awhile.
